Who knows how to get rid of calls from numbers like 8886290189/877-770-4157?

I received calls from those numbers at least 3 times everyday since last Nov. It is usually a recorded call saying it is Sallie Mae looking for Christopher due to some student loan things. I told them several times I was definitely not the guy and asked them to delete my name from the list. Apparantly and unfortunately,I was ignored.

I google those numbers and find they are so many people who are bothered by the same problem. I do not find any valueable suggestions for getting rid of them. But I really find a black joke about that

There are three certainties in my life: 

1. Death  2. Taxes  3. A call from this number EVERY DAY

So who can help me out of this?

Newly horror killing happened recently in VT campus since last notorious massacre produced by the Korean killer has completely made the univ seem to be cursed. Shocked by the bloody decapitation, I am far beyond a sympathy to both the victim and the suspect and fall into a deeply thought of  survival circumstance of  international students from Asia in US. There must be some underlying inner reason for the serial violent accidents of Asian students. The great gaps between the Western and Orient culture gives unceasing and overwhelming impacts to the students coming from Asia,especially East Asia. Lost feeling resulting from being the elite in native country suddenly becoming the most disadvantaged group in a new country pervasively exists in many Eastern Asian international students' minds.What should we hold in belief to avoid unnecessary and stupid impulse during the transition period? A inequality can give us the answer.
Living in a modern society that promises the freedom to every citizen regardless the race and background, life has become the paramount element in the individual value. Everything is vanity for a dead man. A man who does not respect own life and others' can never become a true member of the modern society and is doomed to be condemned and eliminated. Once you become a person cherishing lives, some stuff should be erected as a pursuit of life. Materials or emotions? Money, as the sign for the physical materials, is the foundation of leading a life. It is always the important living aim for all people, however, the point is that for some persons, it stands a primal even whole meaning for life and others don't. Based on life experience, what I feel more and more is emotion, consisted of filial affection,love and friendship always outweighs money. As the old saying goes, man can die for a bosom friend which implicitly values some great friendship equal to life! And filial affection and love are more precious than friendship. In such a rapid changing world, to defend the unpleasure generated by various and strange situations and keep the moderate mood, life>emotion>money should be remembered forever.
